Each cell is one beat, with two units for a short beat and three for a long one. Tap a unit to silence, play or accent it. Hold and drag a cell to rearrange the beats. Double-tap the bottom of a cell to close a phrase, then continue building with short or long beats.
In practice performance departs slightly from the notation: fast tempi tighten the long beat toward the short one, slow tempi sit on it.
